Ian Mitchell, Chairman, bartlett mitchell

I have worked most Christmas’ during my 45 years in the industry. I would be extremely happy on a desert island with no commercial influence as long as I had Sky TV.

I would have all the traditional fayre. Smoked salmon, roast turkey and every trimming possible, followed by the smallest bit of Christmas pudding. The Drinks would be important, Veuve Clicquot, then Pouilly-Fume, Baron de ‘L’ followed by Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2002. At £106 for the Burgundy and £50 for the Pouilly-Fume, no extravagance there then!

I would miss midnight mass, but my wife and I will sing hymns together. A hymn book also please.

Happy Christmas.
